Pet insurance a must, say experts.

As it's national pet month, I thought I'd share with you this story from Insurance Daily.

The article makes the fair point that while pet insurance isn't a statutory obligation, it makes for responsible pet ownership and can be a beneficial financial move in the long run.

Another interesting thing reported in the article is that apparently 30% of animals are overweight - so it looks as if we as a nation and our pets are a bit on the heavy side.
