Billboard Gives German Dogs A Treat

An intellegent billboard has been launched in Germany by pet food company Grenata which dishes out treats to the dogs of tech savvy pet owners.

If someone stops in front of the billboard, and checks in on popular location-based social networking app Foursquare, the machine inside the billboard will dispense a small sample of the companies' dog treats. Check ins are recorded by a remote server which then communicates with a black box inside the billboard, prompting it to release the sample.

A very clever piece of marketing that dog owners, not forgetting the dogs themselves, are sure to appreciate!
